ExploreYourWorldImage.pngIt's back-to-school time, you're crazy busy, and your brain is being stretched in a million different directions. We want to help! In partnership with The Curriculum Corner, VariQuest® presents a cross-curricular free lesson plan unit for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students titled, "Explore Your World."

Complete with 16 lesson plan activities and 82 downloadable posters, "Explore Your World" is a unit designed for students to learn about, and experience a way of life different from their own, on the other side of the world. With kindness and understanding among different cultures becoming an increasingly more important concept to instill in children in our world today, this lesson plan is a perfect way to not just tell, but show both cultural differences and similarities to others.

Developed in partnership with The Curriculum Corner, founded by educators with a passion for helping other teachers, these lessons are meant to serve as a traveling experience to create context around what we know, what we think we know, and how we can apply that knowledge when interacting with others living outside our borders. This particular unit, while focused on Japan, can be customized through many "blank" template materials to focus on the country of your choice to accommodate for the specific needs of the classroom.

And because VariQuest is committed to providing teachers with the tools they need to help students succeed, it's completely free! We hope you enjoy utilizing this valuable resource in your classroom!
