Classroom Management & Get to Know You Activities

A great way to get students talking about themselves while getting back into the habit of daily math exercises, this activity can be altered for any grade level and can be spread over the span of a week.

Asking Post-It Questions!

Engage students with meaningful questions about the upcoming school year by posting questions on large posters then letting them fill in their own answers. This will hopefully spark discussion and help define classroom management.

Classroom Memes

Go over classroom procedures, rules, and expectations with fun and memorable memes. Create your own or use these for inspiration! Works great for older students.

Beach Ball Activity

Get students moving and answering questions with this fun beach ball game! Change up the questions, add another ball, have fun!

Switch Sides If...

This game is perfect for a big group - a version of the "this or that" game, ask students questions about themselves and let them see what they have in common with their classmates!

Setting Goals in the Classroom

Give students individual goal setting responsibility by having them write their goal for the year, then create a community of goals by posting them as pictured here!
