In this socially-distant holiday season typically marked with gatherings and family togetherness, we as educators are finding ways to make hybrid and distance learning a part of our routines that encourage as much connection as safely possible. Creating a game students can share with their families, in their own homes, not only encourages guided parental involvement, but places the student at the forefront of their learning in following directions and then teaching others about what they've learned.
We've again partnered with Cathy Henry from Free Word Work and The Curriculum Corner to put together this activity that proves particularly useful during this time of distance and hybrid learning.
Including templates for game boards, game cards, worksheets, and labels for baggie kits, you'll gain ideas and tools for creating and/or sending home this fun activity the whole family can be involved in -with simple instructions, which you know your parents will appreciate!
