4 Ways to Celebrate the 100th Day of School with VariQuest Visual Learning Tools

The 100th day of school is an exciting time for many primary students. Use your VariQuest Visual Learning Tools to enhance the celebration!

Conduct a silly photoshoot

Let students create and decorate their own 100 Days accessories. For example, we cut out crowns using MSK075 and MSK074 and glasses using MSK073 and MSK016 with the Cutout Maker 3600. This way the crown and glasses are ready to be decorated and donned by your students the moment they walk in the door!

You can then frame these pictures to display or send home in FRA103 or FRA104

Have your own awards ceremony

Usually awards are reserved for the end of the year, but give your students an extra suprise with "100 Days Smarter" stickers or certificates. We used the Awards Maker and STK002 and STK001 for a long lasting, economical way for students to remember the day.

Play 100th Day Bingo

  • Cut out MTH383 (100th Day Bingo Card) on laminated construction paper for reuse, or simply construction paper.
  • Write 1-25 on scraps of paper and place in a basket
  • Have students fill out their own bingo card by writing the numbers you call that you draw from the basket on any square in their card. Continue until they've filled in all 25 spaces. Each board will be different!
  • Pick one number at a time from the bag, reading it aloud, and have students circle the number on their boards as you go. Continue until you have a winner and play as many times as you'd like!
  • Modification: Give students prepared game boards numbered with 1-20, leaving 5 blank spaces. Have students work together to find the missing numbers before beginning the game.

Decorate!
