Tahoma Senior High is Dedicated to Recognition
When Mike Jackson, Marketing teacher at Tahoma Senior High School in Covington, WA purchased the VariQuest Awards Maker 400 nearly six years ago he never imagined the tremendous impact it would have on their school, community and students. Since their investment, Tahoma Senior High School, a.k.a Tahoma Bears, established the Bear Awards department as another revenue generating source for their school store, The Bear Den. Through Bear Awards, students, teachers, parent volunteers and members of the community receive on-the-spot recognition with personalized award plaques, and students of Mr. Jackson's class aspire to new heights as they learn real-world business skills.
